Guided Pike Fishing, Co. Monaghan.
Irish coarse fishing international Peadar O’Brien is one of County Monaghan’s most experienced fishing guides. His remit includes both pike and coarse fishing from boat and shore. Peadar has an intimate knowledge of the lakes surrounding his hometown of Carrickmacross, nearby Castleblaney, and Ballybay. Every season clients of Peadar’s enjoy great fishing with multiple catches of double figure pike or bagging up on bream, roach, and hybrids.
Peadar specialises in boat fishing for pike with lures and float drifted dead baits. When not taking clients out on the water he can be found test fishing one of the many lakes in the area. Fully equipped for the task in hand Peadar supplies all lures and life jackets as standard, and for a small extra charge provides lunch and a tackle hire service.
